1. Faculty of Pharmacy Studies to launch
Lahore Leads University will launch M.Phil Degree in Pharmacy Studies from Fall 2013. design, test and analyze applications for s and other devices. By completing the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Studies program, students would develop a firm foundation in , and communications, which prepares them for careers creating applications. The curriculum would begin by refreshing and advancing a student's understanding of the mathematical concepts that methods and programming languages are built upon. Students would delve into programming fundamentals, architecture, operating systems and a variety of other topics. Additionally, the program would heavily emphasize team building, collaboration and the timely delivery of products to prepare students for real-world work environments in the field. Upon completion of the program, graduates would be able to seek work in the industry or further their knowledge and skills at the graduate level.
3. Fazal Karim Khan M.Phil thesis proposal defense to held this week.
MPhil students at the Faculty of Pharmacy Studiess will defend their thesis proposal this week. The defense will be chaired by the Chair of the Departmental Advanced Studies Committee and the two other members will be in attendance. It will consist of a 30 minute presentation by the student on the main aspects of the argument and the research reported in the dissertation, followed by questions and comments during a discussion period of fifteen minutes.
2/Jan/2014: Workshop on organized by Faculty of Pharmacy Studiess
The Department of Pharmacy Studiess took an initiative of conducting a market oriented workshop. The 25 hour workshop was spread over three weeks at the main campus of Lahore Leads University. The instructor, Mr. Sheraz Pervez, is a renowned IT consultant for the government of Punjab and has 13 years of practical work experience. is designed to handle the ever-increasing data needs of modern organizations. Effective management of capabilities can help organizations ensure the integrity and security of data. In this hands-on course, the participants maximized the features of to build and maintain databases, configure memory and storage for optimal performance, and manage large amounts of data and its handling. The participants understood how to use the advanced features used in the set of programs and how the stored procedures and its features have been used and work together in the large scope of work.
